Good alternative to dual monitors
Had this for a few weeks now so chance to test out properly. Am I glad I bought it, yes! Not as versitile as dual monitors, as more expensive for less real estate, but much neater and easier to use. When you need (want?) the full 21:9 its so much better than two separate frames. Couple seems good with only a bit of backlight bleeding, expected. The little joy stick control is actually easy to use too when you get used to it. Better than some controls. I have it set in software to do the night mode via time. You stop noticeing the slight yellowing after a while and, as a night owl, I do think I'm sleeping better - but that's probably just in my mind... This version has a nice heavy base (stable) and a USB hub. Not used the speakers so can't comment on those. Overall, a good purchase and I'm glad I went this way and the this size.

Hi-Spec Blue-Ray Recorder with Twin Freeview+ Tuners, HDD, etc.
1 of 1 found this helpful Good Blu-Ray Recorder, lots of functions but fairly easy to use especially if you're used to the Panasonic interface (which isn't great but isn't that bad either).
Highlights: Twin Tuners, Freeview+ with series record (how often do you forget to set the recorded for the next episode....), easy to use, direct record (so recordings look like they're off-air), pause live TV, and more.
Lowlights: Can be slow on menus at times (so are most BR recorders still), lots of functions and lots of menus - takes some remembering where everything is (better if you already know your way around the Panasonic interface), and the worst of the lot - Viera Cast(waste of time, needs replaceing with Viera Connect that includes iplayer!! Will Panasonic upgrade, I doubt it!).
In summary, great recorder that takes up little space to do so much. A very worthwhile upgrade at the right price (£300 or so max.!)
