Great talent and diversity of music
My typical listening tastes run from classic rock to jazz fusion to more modern rock, with talent and production being key elements. As with any album, there are songs that shine and some that don't quite get there for me. The majority of the songs on this one are very good. The musicianship stands out on most, even though many of the musicians are at the beginning of their (hopefully) long careers. I also find it interesting that on a number of songs the tracks were recorded in different parts of the world with the musicians never having met. I was drawn to this project through the drumming videos of Sina, and she's quite a young talent, but there are many other talented musicians and songwriters here. The songs are well written, and the production quality is great, and most of them are ones I would put on rotation. It sounds as if they had a lot of fun. Plus, as an acupuncturist, I like the name Chi Might.
