Reliable, but hard to change settings.

My expectations were low, honestly. The waking light function works better than I expected it to, and is a plausible stand-in for natural pre-dawn light ramping up to daylight. The wake-up sound has stayed on 'sea-gulls'. The only downside to this product is the user interface. It is entirely set up as a touch-screen, with occasionally confusing icons for the functions, and the device itself offers little feedback as one attempts to change settings. If you get one of these, you will definitely need to download the manual, and read it, and understand it
