Fun but not portable.
This is a great port of the console version with the ability to scan in your 1.0 and 2.0 figures. However there is substantial slow down, the graphics are a bit blurry and there's input lag. I'm still impressed that they managed to squeeze the full console experience onto a handheld but the experience seems redundant once you realize that you'll need the base station and figures at all times in order to play the game. Unlike the handheld Skylanders games you can't scan and save a character and leave the base and figures at home, with this game you'll need to take the base, figures and system with you wherever you go. Not very portable if you ask me. In any case the value is fantastic, everything is high quality, the Spiderman figure is just so cool.
