Seller pressed me to make a payment immediately threatening me with "eBay's auction policy" however after receiving the payment, seller did not ship item out. 4 Days later I messaged the seller to ship the item out or cancel since it works both ways. Seller is now insinuating he is canceling the order and I will receive a refund. Terrible terrible seller. I have never dealt with something like this on eBay throughout my years. The Superior Guitar Synth experience
3 of 3 found this helpful Unless you just absolutely NEED specific instrument sounds (pianos, etc.), this should be your single purchase to get into the world of guitar synthesis. I find the pedals and pickups to make those other sounds can fall short of expectations, while the SY300 and it's super interface is all you need to get a rainbow of sounds out of not JUST your guitar, but nearly anything that uses a TR ("guitar") input. I've seen videos of this thing working with violins, bass guitars, cellos... and I use it for my Chapman Stick.
Also not only is this thing the superior synth unit, but it's also a GREAT multi-effects unit. So even if guitar synthesis isn't everything you wanted it to be, it's still loaded with a ton of infamous digital effects, such as a huge range of Overdrives/Distortions and even more obscure effects like Slow Gear and Univibe. Even with the synth sounds off, the four FX channels can make for some impressive sounds in their own right.
My recommendations are to pick one up used, probably around the time eBay has one of those site-wide sales.
