Unofficial HP Cookbook
Loved my copy, so I bought this one for my granddaughter who is also a serious HP fan!
Lots of fun references and good recipes.

Good Historical Series About The Race To The South Pole
1 of 1 found this helpful Got this series to replace a set of 7 VHS tapes and was thrilled to get it. I actually video taped the series when it first hit PBS. I taped it again, editing out all the commercials when it hit regular TV.
My Husband was really into the series after reading the 1,000+ book. We didn't realize how much was edited out until the set was offered. It is a great story of the race to the South Pole by British Scott and Norwegian Amundsen: their different plans for their expeditions, the trials and tribulations suffered by men to reach a goal that would bring them worldwide acclaim, and the tragic outcome that can follow fighting nature on it's own terms.
I felt the casting of characters was good and the series did not seem disjointed by following both explorers.
The only downside I can see is one needs a full day to watch this historic race in entirety, and in these times of instant everything, some might find it a long haul. Personally, I found it a rewarding story.
As a "prequel" to this series, I think the DVD about Shackleton and HIS exploration on the Endurance would be worth a look to get an idea of how life was in historic expeditions.

Tigger Movie
Hadn't realized there was additional story to the Tigger story.
What a delightful surprise and a good story of extended family and friendship.
