Does exactly what it says

I had a DIY electronics kit arrive in the post from another seller, one of the IC’s legs were very badly bent and I hadn’t the patience to try to re-pitch and straighten them by hand.
This tool did the job in seconds.
Also, not just for badly bent ICs - this tool sets new unused IC’s legs to the perfect pitch for insertion into the socket, making insertion much easier and less risk of bending the legs as you insert it.
Overall, a must have tool for any electronics enthusiast or professional alike.

Not at all good
1 of 1 found this helpful Upon initial inspection the product appears to be well made.
However, when I tested one on a piece of old toughened glass, it barely made a mark - a stone chip does much more damage than one of these!
Avoid relying on this product to get you out of an emergency situation, you’d be far better with a window glass hammer instead!
