Beware a fault in its recording of the true temperature

Appears to be perfect as it is very easy to set up & operate. But would recommend setting up a test system (e.g.a small light & some comparison thermometers such as max/min). The location was an outside shed. Initially I noticed that the thermostat temperature was much higher than my control thermometers (about 7 degrees) but I accepted that as start up & put the thermostat temperature to be 8 degrees which was easy. I then took readings very regularly & noticed that on every occasion the control thermometers were about 7 degrees lower than the thermostat & at night the thermometers were reading 5.1 but the thermostat 12.5 & it never moved from there. No light came on so I reset the thermostat to a switch temperature of 14 & the light came on. No problem in the switching mechanism just a major fault in the temperature reading/control. So a test situation is necessary.
