Typical poor quality Chinese product
2 of 2 found this helpful This inverter is in the middle price range for Chinese inverters with 1000W, 12V input, 120V 60Hz output so one would expect the quality to be middle range. The particular unit I received is a let down on this assumption. On opening the casing, I found 2 aluminum shavings by the power transistors, the heat shrink tubings still loose, never heated, and one wire powering the fan having exposed solder where 2 wires were joined. The boards seems to be well designed but with poor soldering and large components placed out of their designated location. The LCD screen is only legible when viewed at an angle, blanking out when viewed directly at a perpendicular plane, leading me to assume that it is only legible when the unit is in the horizontal initially (I placed it on the floor so had to look down on the display). Contrary to the image showing 797W drain at 123V in the posting, when connected to a 650W appliance, output voltage dropped to 105V from 124V (poor regulation).
On the positive side, the output shows good sinusoidal smoothing when connected to an oscilloscope.

Highly recommended. Much lower price than what is offered a the local dental supply house.
This is a commodity supply and the worse that could happen is the metal tube not bonded properly to the plastic hub or the plastic hub having improper dimension, not fitting a Luer "Lock" . Fortunately, none of the above concern apply to this product.
