A must buy for the aspiring amateur

A good book on cabinet making techniques but also deals with many basic carpentry projects. I had no formal training and this book certainly helped me.

Battery life

It appears to be a good camera but it has one major fault, battery life. The manufacturer states it will take 280 shots before new battery's are needed. Mine managed less than 50. I bought a quality charger and rechargeable battery's but these have a shorter life. Sent for repair and received it back with a note stating no problems found.
