A truly engaging documentary that explores the problems of our times in more depth than most others dare. Everyone should watch this!
Unparalleled in it's brave examination of the forces driving our current destructive way of life, this film delves deep into the economic, social, psychological and cultural drivers of our current insane race towards extinction. With an almost poetic narration and interviews that don't attempt to dumb down the complex issues this is a "must watch" for anyone concerned with environmental destruction, social commentary and making sense of this mad world we live in.
There's a huge quantity of information, and while at the time I write this review the film is 13 years old, it's as relevant now as it was when it was made. Despite being made before the financial collapse and the proliferation of fracking, these events only serve to underscore the material contained within. Deeply thought provoking, this film bears watching many times and continued contemplation of the questions it raises.
It's not without it's flaws, but they don't detract from the power of the film. It's very US centric, at times it's a touch over-written, it perhaps could have been edited down to an hour and a half without losing it's core message. Having said that, I highly recommend it, it makes the big budget mass market environmental documentaries look like frivolous cartoons by comparison.

Pretty good actually
No problems so far. Seems well made, light is bright and variable focus works well. Other reviews have said the charging port is fragile, but I've not had a problem yet.
