LMX 5% = BEST TOPICAL NUMBING AGENT ON THE MARKET (I'm a patient, not a salesman!)
Excellent product. Nothing else numbs as well or as deeply (I use it for a medi-port an hour before infusion access, and there is zero pain!).
I've tried many other numbing agents, but LMX 5% (even 4%) has something proprietary to Ferndale Labs that seems to get the job done the way no other lidocaine-based topical cream can.
It's expensive, probably more than it needs to be, but Valley Medical keeps their margins down, so they are usually the best price on the net.
