Flimsy build quality for the money

It feels a bit flimsy. I wouldn't trust it too much with an expensive phone attached. It should probably be cheaper for what it is.

An otherwise nice product let down by poor quality control.

Always feel let down by these as the cutting edges never met together correctly from new and the embossed 'Knipex' branding on one of the handles only shows 'Knipe'. I expected a higher standard from this brand. The offset/overlapping jaws shows to me that they have not been ground together as one at the time of assembly. This has the effect of impairing their cutting action. Frankly I should have returned them as faulty. They would otherwise be, if not for these reasons, a good pair of snips.
