Be careful
I purchased this thinking that it would work for my 4001 which was purchased in the 80's. I tried to alter it to make it work and unfortunately could not, so now I cannot return it. I discovered that there are several different pickguards that were used in the 80's for the Rickenbacker 4001. Make absolutely sure that this will work on your bass before you try to install it.

Great plush toy
I purchased for my girlfriend who is a huge Bowie and Labyrinth fan. She loved it. It's very cute and seems durable. A great gift for any fan of the movie.
