What's not to like? Scottish Director (Bill Forsyth) picked icons & iconic Scottish scenery plus an American icon - Burt Lancaster. Understated masterpiece. Fulton Mackay & Rikki Fulton match Lancaster in a balanced portrayal of a quiet country life colliding with "big oil" riches. Listen closely for the one liners. And, watch out for that smokey motor scooter. And ... watch out for mermaid Jenny Seagrove.
