Classic
Classic antenna. My first ever half wave CB antenna from the 90s. The only issue is that the aluminium used bends easily in the wind. My antenna bent like a banana within a day in storm Eunice. My solution was to replace the bottom section with a 1.83m long 25mm wide stainless steel section (from B&Q) and drop the other sections down to around 88cm in length to give the whole structure more stability. My antenna now resonates much more broadly with a swr of 1:1.5 or under from 26.5 Mhz to 29.5 Mhz. So for an extra £14 you get yourself a sturdy antenna that will outperform antennas double the price. Worth the fix if needed. 73s.

Good value Dipole
1 of 1 found this helpful Why the negative reviews? Infact this Dipole can be turned up to 180Mhz. So what if there are no tuning instructions? If you need instructions to tune a dipole then you shouldn't be meddling with RF. The most basic of antenna. The least you could do is ask prophet Google and he will give you the calculation. Alternatively you could go the full Monty and invest in an antenna analyser! Anyway. Great antenna at an unbeatable price. So far i've ordered three of these from Moonraker with next day delivery.
