It doesn't spray out a rainbow 😂
Clear lacquer with glitter in it. The little glitter particles are each a different colour (rainbow) dries really quickly with a shinny smooth finish not a high glossy finish but good. Can re cover with clear lacquer to give a deeper gloss and still have glitter effect. Over all very good little can but covers a lot did my motocross helmet and some spare for testing prior to painting the helmet.

Great for airsoft !!!
I can't comment on real firearms I.e. if it would survive the kick of a live round and still hold accuracy, but for airsoft it's great and very accurate there's adjustment for depression, elevation and windage and it's really easy to zero. Also like a real red dot sight you can move your head latterly and there is barley any dispersion of the dot to the target 1mm if that to any direction. And for the price it really is good value
