Worth getting a V1 neck
I've played an 82Z with a G1 neck for the past 15 years and recently ordered a V1 on a whim. The new neck plays with a bit less resistance, and has a subtly greater dynamic range, both of which I feel are worthwhile improvements. Basic sound and intonation are unchanged.
