Better grip on the wheel.
Make it where it has a better grip on the wheel. This is the 3rd one of these that I have had to replace in the last year. Great looking and looks like a quality product, but will not stay on if you drive a dirt road, which I do about 1% of the time.

Best Kept Secret of all Hamilton Beach Malt Mixers
This little Model 51 (1951-1963) was the last one, and the only small mixer that Hamilton Beach ever made, in my opinion, that was worth taking home. They were still made with metal and the later models went to plastic. They will basically do anything the larger mixers will do as they have the same style flexible blades as the larger machines. The only difference is that they make a malt that is just a little over a pint at a time, and the larger machines mix a quart in their larger cups. The Model 51 can be picked up at a very reasonable price as most people cannot tell the difference in these and any later model, as side by side they look almost identical. The only thing to remember is to look for the flexible blade that none of the later models have.
It is hard to find one of these with the original heavy white or clear plastic cup, as most have been separated from the mixer sometime in the last 50 years, since they came out. Various replacement metal cups are available for those that want to use these great little mixers.

Easy to install. of you just take your time and follow directions,
I am an average homeowner and by following the directions I was able to install it myself.
