Majority DAB FM Radio CD Player Alarm Clock With Bluetooth Micro HiFi System

Promising, but doesn't quite deliver...
To be fair, I only bought this to use as a bedroom music player, and the sound quality, whilst not exactly hi-fi, is quite pleasant - it even has some bass! However, it has some major flaws and shortcomings which prevent an unqualified recommendation. First off, the clock is useless, losing about 15 minutes a day, which negates any possibility of the unit actually being used as a clock radio, which kind of defeats the object. Surely this could be fixed quite easily? The only way to correct the time (without going the long-winded 'manual' route) is to select DAB and let the clock sync itself to the radio station time. I have been doing this about 4 times a day, but it's a pain asI don't listen to the radio at all. On the plus side, build quality is quite good, being solid and quite heavy, the remote handset is fine (I didn't find it's small size to be a problem, as others have reported), but has one glaring omission; there is no 'Mute' button, which seems like a schoolboy error to me. The two USB ports are useful for charging phones and tablets etc., but it's a shame they can't be used to plug in a USB pen drive/hard drive to actually play music files, which again, seems like a huge omission. Lastly, the addition of wi-fi and/or LAN connections would make it much more useful overall; hopefully they might address these omissions in future models. Overall, quite good value for the price I paid, but definitely not worth the full asking price of about £150.
