Another great Dell Latitude
This is the 4th Dell Latitude and even though I have only had it a very short time, so far I am very impressed with this one. I chose it because I needed the old style PC slot plus it came loaded with XP Pro - also a must for dealing with some antique industrial hardware. The battery life is extremely good with around 4.5 hours on a full charge. Display is really sharp and very bright. I also have the docking station with it and look forward to checking that out further.
For those needing to keep one foot in the dark ages (i.e. XP world)and wanting more of a bargin (used) but something fast enough to handle some current programs without choking on just today's anti-virus suites plus one or two open applications this could be your answer.

Great item. New life to perfectly functional phones
Someone pointed out that this product not only renews but actually upgrades my old QC2 to include a microphone. Easy to install.

FT450D a very well equipped HF 100w rig

Lots of filters and fancy built in features like a tuner (although limited to a mismatch of 3:1), keyer, a memory system to recall favorite freq mode, filter settings and more (almost everything except for power output). Once you get used to using some of these features it’s a lot of fun to use but you will have to spend some time reading the manual - more than once.
