Quality unit that really works

This antenna really works well. I know it is not the best antenna in the world :) and is a compromise compared to more efficient types, however at my QTH it is a godsend. I am surrounded by houses with all the QRM that brings. My long back garden is covered by a fan of five power cables and phone lines so unusable for antennas. The front garden is about three meters square next to a road. I had been using a Diamond W-735 80-40 meters coil loaded dipole over the roof but suffered from excessive noise. My shack is in an attic conversion so I ran a sloper from the Chameleon CHA Hybrid down to the front garden and immediately found I had much less noise and improved signal strength across the bands, Also my SWR was nearly 1:1 on several bands including 80 that I really need at the moment for the local net. I highly recommend this antenna as a quality unit that delivers.
