Needs improvement
1 of 1 found this helpful Despite a very battered box the bench arrived undamaged, I was disappointed to find it was lacking 4 of the nuts. The quality of this bench is not great, the metal sides and plastic rose insert are ok, but the wood is fairly flimsy and looks untreated. I suppose that is only to be expected for the low price
I bought a small tin of wood varnish (and the missing nuts) at a local DIY shop, and that improved the looks and weatherproofing greatly. I'd recommend using some wood-stain first to add some colour to the very pale timber.

Cheaper and better than the original
Instead of paying £30 to £40 for an original BMW replacement unit (a 50p bulb annoyingly glued in to a reflector), I decided to try these. They are a bit fiddly to fit, you'll need to remove the headlights to do it, and the first time getting them in and out is tricky, but there are youtube videos to help. When fitted the bulbs are much brighter and whiter than the dim yellow originals, making it look like the ones on the later models, which is very welcome.

Cheap RF controller for single colour LED strips.
Cheap RF controller for single colour LED strips. Has 25%, 50% and 100% settings which are useful, the various flashing modes aren't. I've got three of them controlling strips in cabinets, and the controller usually switches all 3 on or off together, sometimes it doesn't and takes a few goes to get them all doing the same.
