Looks and sound like art.
I have played many different brands of cajons, and none have compared favorably to this one. The bass is well pronounced and resonating from the center. The guitar strings are at a great tension that run diagonally across the top corners. They are placed in such a way as to not allow an obtrusive snare buzz sound as playing bass notes. The tapas is very sensitive and allows a greater ease of playing without the need of excessive force. Much easier on the hands! The tapas is also extremely responsive to changing of pitch with one's foot. Also has a nice ring tone when knocking on the sides. Then there is the astounding good looks. I have purchased too many products that don't look anything like the picture. This cajon is better than the pictures. The pics do not give justice to the high gloss finish of the body and the satin finish of the tapas. The dovetail joinery is stellar. As a musical artist, this cajon looks and sounds like art. Enjoy. Blessings!
