Top-Quality Superbly Manufactured Product
This is a top-quality, small, product. If you want a big pan - look elsewhere. The pan is really solid with a 3-core base that transfers heat on our induction hob almost instantly. No non-stick lining to wear out - just brilliantly polished stainless steel that means we use it as the smallest of our pans for normal cooking. The lid is safety glass with stainless steel rim and a vent hole, so you can see exactly how things are going. The handle on the pan - with hole so you could hang it up - and the handle on the lid stay at an acceptable temperature. But the quality of the egg-cup tray and the cups themselves are way ahead of any other poacher we've looked at. Thick, non-twisting, egg tray complete with lifting loop. The non-stick cups take large sized eggs comfortably and are held in removable stainless steel clips with lifting loops. We get perfect eggs in 4 minutes. All this adds up to a product that we are confident will last at least 25 years (the age of our Meyer steamer pan set that is of similar quality - and which still looks brand new)
