Leica SUMMICRON-M 35mm f/2 Aspherical Lens (Black) 6bit Excelent+++

Great build quality, awesome picture quality...

The Summicron-M 35 ASPH is a classic Leica M lens, one of the finest standard lenses you can buy. It is admittedly expensive, but you do get what you pay for. It is sharp, contrasty (though not overly so) and quick/easy to focus. This is a lens that can stay on your camera as a go-to walk-around lens. The build quality is first rate (smooth focusing ring and clicky aperture ring) with useful hyperfocal scale. There are quite a lot of negative comments about the hood and cap, but while it is plastic, it is of good quality and the cap actually clips on with a satisfactory click, when you put it on correctly. I haven’t had any problems with the hood cap not staying on. All in all, very happy with the purchase.
