An excellent manual flashgun
Ive bought five of these over time for location based speedlight flash photography with softboxes. They recycle quickly, can be controlled either on the hot shoe or remotely via slave flash or radio control and can be linked to each other with the optional controller (which I have) to be able to remotely control the flashes rather than running back an forth to them (this includes flash power and zoom head control).
I've had to replace one due to malfunction (just stopped triggering) and another due to a fall into the sea on a shoot. Even though I had one fail I replaced it with the same model again as they are excellent. Yes they are a copy of a certain manufacturers high end flash gun but they've done it so well and for the price its ridiculous value.
They do no have TTL metering, and will require you to use them manually...but hey as a DSLR photographer surely you shoot in manual don't you...DONT YOU???? buy one, you won't regret it.

It does the job
Its a socket, you need it to remove your O2 sensor when replacing them. It does the job admirably, buy one.

Outstanding value for what was a flagship camera when it was released
I bought the original MZ-5 cameras when it was launched by Pentax quite a few years ago now. I still have the camera but it suffers from the well known issue of a stupid plastic gear on the mirror motor that breaks and won't return the mirror correctly. The camera and a lense cost me over £400 when it came out and to be honest it was worth it.
I bought the MZ5n body to use with my range of lenses and kit until I get my original MZ-5 repaired. The body is a slightly higher spec than the Mz-5 with depth of field preview but it does have the same flaws as the MZ-5, the motor gear tend to fail due to being made from plastic and the spring that flips up the flash break and then it won't pop up any more until repaired.
This may put you off but, the body I purchased from ebay although having had use was fine along with the flash spring and don't be deterred as this is an amazing camera. It will take some stunning photos with a little knowledge and a good lens. Just check with the seller that this issues aren't present. The flash should pop up without problem and the reflex mirror should return as normal. You will hear a whirring noise and a delay to the mirror clicking back if the gear on the mirror motor has gone or is going.
I've been quoted repair prices around £65 for repairing both of the common issues so even if you had to pay this on top of a reasonably cheap cost for a second hand body it's still a great bargain. I got my body for about £20 which frankly is rediculous as I know how much they cost new orignially.
If you want a film camera pick one of these up, you won't be disappointed, they are light, have al the functions you need and the lenses are compatible with all but the most recent digital SLR Pentax cameras and are back compatible with all pentax K fit cameras.
