A very informative work and enjoyable.

As a cookery book, certainly different and brilliant.

Just brings back Shetland to me as it was when we lived there...absolute magic... makes me miss the place even more. The writing is beautifully written, funny and compelling. A really good read especially when you know the places mentioned. At the end of the day where else could it be.? Pure Shetland. A book that has revived so many happy memories for us both thanks to James and Tom for the recipes also...we'll get around trying some shortly. Bill Jackson and Dr Fiona Johnson
