The deep cycle batteries to buy!
Having been dissapointed in the past with fancy AGM batteries, the Varta LFDs have been my choice for the past five years. The ones I bought for a boat 4 years ago are still holding a great charge and these are for a campervan. They are less fussy about charging regimes, be it alternators or solar controllers and do not gas due to cleverly designed internal plate structures, so ideal for inside campervans. The guys at Alpha Batteries come highly recommended and will match battery pairs when requested.
I don't give feedback often but have no hesitatation in recommending Alpha and these LFDs.
