Great camera, great results.
I wanted a great "street camera", that was unobtrusive but was capable of high quality photo's, and think that's exactly what I bought but it is also capable of so much more.
The downside, is if this is your only camera, it doesn't have a zoom, but that helps, in some ways, as it forces you to mentally compose the photograph you are about to take in your mind first.

35mm 1.4 Asph/Fle - I've found a keeper
0 of 1 found this helpful I've been buying and trying different Leica Lenses for my M 240 for the last year.
I originally started with a 3 set the 28mm 2 Asph summicron, my main lens the excellent (but heavy) chrome 1.4 ash 50mm/2 summilux, and great value Elmarit 90.
I wanted to reduce the number down to two - due to the weight and although REALLY excellent as glasses user I couldn't see the frame-lines on the 28mm.
I delighted by the image quality, perspective, lightweight, and build quality of the 28 summilux ash/fle, It's now my most used and favourite lens - highly recommended. It's also easy to focus, you can (just) see the frame-lines, and has a great screw on lens-hood.
I've paired this with a summicron 75 ash/apo and equally happy with that too, although it was hard to loose the 50 summilux.
