Must see
The Road Racers has to be seen to be believed. A tremendous film that would, I guess, have been distributed as one of the support features that we used to get at the cinema. It's a glorious example of the film documentary. Well worth seeing even if you don't give a hoot about motorbike racing. If you do then you've probably seen it already and will agree that it gives a wonderful sense of just how glorious these times were.
It features Joey Dunlop but his real contribution to this disc is his film lap of the Isle of Man TT couse which features as the final chapter of V Four Victory, the second title on the disc. The film runs as an interview with Joey talking about a season's racing on Honda's V Four race bikes.
