Meike 35mm f1.7 Sony E Mount
You will have to try very hard to find a better value lens than this.
Central IQ is excellent, very sharp even wide open.
The corners and outside edges are quite soft but that's fine for things like portraits or single subjects. Bokeh is pleasant, better than that of some big brand lenses costing over 10x more.
Lens is build of metal and has a good solid feel to it. Handles well, actions are quite smooth.
Picture is taken on an a7Rii in APS-C mode with lens wide open at f1.7 ISO100

Best Value Canon Lens by far
Great litte street lens. Amazing value for money.
Fits in your pocket and has surprisingly good image quality for its size.
The stepping motor works well, I've had fast accurate focus on a variety of EOS cameras and when adapted to Sony ALPHA E mount cameras via Sigma's MC-11 Converter.
Highly Recommended as an easy step up from kit zooms.

Fast, Sharp and Stabilized
Fast f1.8 aperture combined with excellent image stabilization makes this a great alternative to brand name standard lenses.
Can be handheld down to shutter speeds usually requiring a tripod or crazy high ISOs.
Great image quality and a nice solid build without being too heavy, has wonderful handling on both FX and DX format Nikon DSLRs I've tried it with.
