Haynes manuals are informative

As usual Haynes manuals are good. This is the first I’ve ever bought in ‘paperback’ version. It’ll be interesting to see how long it lasts - hopefully as long as I keep the car!

Rubber Moulded set of 4, Rear and Front Mud Flaps for Rover 75

UNdesigned mud flops

Bought for a Rover 75 for which they were (ostensibly) designed. Load of cobblers, they'll probably fit ANY car or van. Need to make a template for each wheel arch and then cut and trim to size then drill holes in car and screw them on. Haven't yet had the time available to do this so still sitting on the work bench. Arrived without any instructions whatsoever so mailed the supplier who replied with instructions to cut and trim.. Whatever happened to mudflaps that were bolted on without having to drill holes in your car? They appear to be strong and good quality rubber - but I've got to get fitted first to prove !!!!

Easy clean

Used occasionally on my car when muddy and proved effective so decided to use it on my caravan before covering up for the winter. The roof was covered in muck from road, trees and hedge so I gave it a good spray and left for five minutes. Gave a run with a wet brush and it very quickly went back to clean paintwork. Brilliant!!
