The R3086 was good buy at a good price .
2 of 2 found this helpful This locomotive was good value and had excellent running characteristics very quiet and pulled 6 coaches with ease R3086 has its motor in the main boiler so the weight was over the driving wheels,this should always be taken into consideration when buying second-hand A class locomotives.
