Was going to make one - glad I didn't..!
This is the first Scaledale model I've bought. An excellent model - well detailed - wire handrails securely fitted_ good detail & colouring _ very pleased...

Remarkably good model...
2 of 2 found this helpful Made with quite rigid foam-board about 2mm thick - printed on both sides - very accurately cut and scored - makes a remarkably accurate 0 gauge (7mm = 12") model of Mallard. I defy anybody to complete the model in 3-4 hours - it took me nearer 8 hours, but well worth the effort. The instructions are excellent, and a booklet is attached detailing the loco. So good that I have made 2 models of Mallard and 2 of Flying Scotsman. Look really good on track base supplied - cannot recommend highly enough - A1...
