narrower and thinner that the usual tape

The picture leads you into thinking you will getting a full width double sided tape. However the actual double-side tape narrower by about 3-4mm than the white backing tape. It will still do the job however (a) I will be using more of it per grip, and (b) getting into position will be hindered by the white backing. I won't be buying again.
