Astra cruise control and clurch switch.
1 of 1 found this helpful Easy to fit, use an unwound paper clip. Look at the new item, you will see a groove along the side of the stalk. Slide the paper clip along the groove of the old stalk to unlatch the clip and simply pull out. The new stalk slides back in easily.
Clutch switch a bit fiddly. I found it easier to remove the trim under the steering wheel for access although more supple folk may not need to. I used a piece of wood against the drivers seat to hold the clutch podal down. Make sure the red section of the switch is pulled fully foward to allow the switch retaining clips to move while fitting. Once fitted slide the red section back, it will ratchet into place.

Works well syraight from the box, even included batteried. We will probably find the old one now!

Good cover, lightweight and cheap.
1 of 1 found this helpful Remember it is cheap and lightweight. However I like the price and like it not being too heavy to fit.
This is my second one, the previous three year old one was still in good condition but too small for my latest motorhome. It was used over the winter months and withstood all weather.
Once fitted and happy with the position we shortened some of the straps, keeping to front corner ones long to help pull it over the roof.
It is easiest as a two-person fit, we use two house floor brooms one either side and walk it forward over the roof taking care no to snag on tv aerials etc. Not so easy on you own as being lightweight any breeze will blow it around.
We also found it best to temporarily put the strap hooks inside the Velcro flaps otherwise they tangle up and catch on everything. That is my one complaint, it should either have hooks with a closing latch or larger Velcro flaps.
