Basic and it works
I've been using the D-Link smark home security kit for about a month now, the initial setup was not straight forward, I needed to contact D-Link support through online chat because it just didn't work for me. The person who helped me was very patient and he helped me to update the firmware on the hub and then it worked.
Everything in the package works, the only thing that needed a battery is the motion sensor, the app tells you the % of the battery, and for me, after one month of use, my motion sensor is still showing 100% battery, so I believe this will last a long time, pretty happy.
The cable of the power supply is somewhat short, so it limits where I can place my camera and siren, I wish they provided a longer cable.
The motion sensing is very sensitive, but can be adjusted, I now leave mine at around 55%, and it stopped giving me false notifications.
Overall, this is a pretty basic kit that works.
