Good for the price
These devices work by advancing the lower jaw to take the base of the tongue away from the back of the throat to open the Airway. The problem with self fitted devices is that it is difficult to get a very good fit. I found that I was able to get a good fit around the outer aspect of my teeth in the upper and lower jaw but on the inner aspect beside the tongue in the lower jaw and beside the palate in the upper jaw it is very difficult to achieve a good fit. In order for the device to push your lower jaw forwards it really does need a good fit on the lower jaw where your tongue rests against the teeth. At only a few pounds this device is very good value for money. You can't expect it to work as well as something that you'd buy from a professional and have fitted professionally. In summary I would recommend it because it's so cheap and it does work but I think professionally made devices would last longer and fit better and work better. It's good to try to see if you can tolerate something bulky in the mouth at night but I am now considering having something made professionally.
I bought this because my timer on my dualit toaster had started to stick and had become a fire hazard. This was straightforward to fit. Plenty of instructions available on YouTube. Works well. Problem solved.
