robust and sturdy
I am an artist, and i have been using the Vonshef mixer to mix hydrocore plaster, neat cement and fine grain concrete in 1.5 to 3 ltr batches. It has stood the test of, ease to clean, which is essential give the materials i use, and can cope with the thickness of cement without the motor labouring and doesn't wander around the table whilst mixing.
I could recommend this mixer for so many reasons, so any task in the kitchen it should surpass any test
I used these little diamond tipped bits to grind down untidy welds on stainless steel. They held up even when they got hot. An hour or so i ground down the stainless steel weld and at the end there was still a sizable amount of diamond spray left on the heads, and i didn't take it easy, as far as i was concerned they were expendable to the job.
I used 3 in all. Three because the weld contours dictated the different shape of the tip i had to use. If you quench them regularly i can't see them not lasting a long time. On ordinary mild steel it should be a doddle.
I used them with a dremmel
