Would not recommend
On paper, this tripod sounds like a good deal. But, as with many things you get what you pay for.
My most concerning issue is the ability to obtain additional plates for other cameras and lenses. So far, that's been a fruitless search.
This means that if I lose the camera plate I need to buy a new clamp/ballhead or throw this tripod away.
I've used this tripod on two outings, so far. The rubber covering on the twist grips is coming lose, and the rubber feet are wearing. As with the plate I don't know if replacement parts are available.
After each use I've had to disassemble the tripod legs to get them to retract properly. I've never done that before.
I hope this thing lasts a year.

I use OpTech products exclusively
When it comes to straps for my optics, I rely on OpTech USA products exclusively.
They always have exactly what I need.
Oh sure, you can pay more with other brands, but why?

There are better books
Update: I found a new home for this book.
This book has good pictures and (apparently) good information, but it's probably destined for the library book sale. It's already frustrating me.
1) it's a very stiff "paperback" and hard to thumb through. Maybe it will loosen up over time, or maybe the binding will break and pages will just fall out. This stiffness makes the information hard to read as the book is fighting you ti snap shut.
The text on each page is quite small.
The table of contents has one error that I found. "Birds in this guide" is listed twice, on pages xv and xvii. Even discovering this was a pain due to the small type and the books stiffness.
I just found another error: it got the name wrong for a nearby wildlife refuge.
The pictures are nice but, again, hard to see because you can't open the book far.
I do like the section about the parts of a bird.
I'd better stop this review because the more I think about this book the more frustrated I get.
If you're looking for a bird book I'd recommend the Audubon Field Guide to North American Birds (Western Region).
