Great welder, unfortunately the smart settings aren’t configured with the most popular gar here 75/25. Unimig has a bit of catching up to do with modern electronic controlled welders. Being able to save settings from a screen or even Bluetooth to your phone should be great. I bought it as a basic welder so I’m really happy with it. It would be good if they supplied some consumables with the welder. The gas hose has to be assembled fortunately I bought the pliers to do that with the last welder I bought from Unimig, how hard is it to buy in an assembled hose. It’s an annoying detail. I run 3 Unimig welders, they’re all pretty good.

Not the quality feel you’d expect for the price.

It’s quite expensive and feels cheap, the fastening clip is really flimsy and I expect it will soon break if used regularly. I’d expect a better quality feel for the price. I also doubt it has much protection for drops, I’m unwilling to test that obviously.
