Genuine GM Z06-style Splash/Mud Guards
My prior C6 had these on the car when I bought it. They do a great job protecting the lower body from mud and grit thrown up by the Vette's wide tires. Also, the way the C6 Vette's fenders are designed, if you put a decent amount of miles on the car, the inner lips will definitely show significant paint wear -- it looks bad and would be pricy to get a blended respray on each wheel arch every few years.
When I purchased a newer C6, it did not have these and I knew I wanted a set. For $100, these are an excellent value. They are relatively easy to install (you will, however, need to remove the rear wheels/tires and do some drilling (fender liner, NOT body)); the instructions are clear and the fit is excellent. Dealer service shop time estimate is about 30 minutes/wheel -- it took me about that for the front wheels, but about an hour each for the rear wheels. I took my time.
Highly recommended for your daily driver or high-use C6 Corvette...
They look like the factory piece that they are, not like ugly after-market mud flaps.

R83 16" wheels with Michelin Premier all-season radials
Most useful info is these wheels DO fit Gen 2 (e.g. R56) MINI Cooper S (not JCW with bigger brakes, however). This is useful info for those desiring to put 16" wheels on their S vs. the 17" which tend to produce a harsher ride with the lower profile tires.
The 195/55-16 Michelins ride great, handle well, and are quieter than the 205/45-17 Pirellis they replaced. Whether this is the tire brand or the higher sidewalls is not known; probably a little of both.
