An excellent machine and very good value
2 of 2 found this helpful This mower was bought as a very lightweight alternative to our main heavy petrol mower so I could mow my son's garden while he was away. Not only was it light but also very versatile. It folded up and fitted into the footwell of my car's passenger seat for easy transportation. It was used on some quite thick long grass and coped extremely well. It does not have a box and the grass clippings needed to be raked up in this instance. For normal trimming I think that would be unnecessary. Obviously it has an electric cable but this does not add to its weight although attention is needed so as not to run over the cable. Our petrol mower can be very temperamental to start with much heaving and pulling and it needs "new" petrol or it won't go. Each new day you have to go off to get "new" petrol which is a pain. In the circumstances the petrol mower has been relegated to the garage. With this mower you just plug it in and off it goes. There is a safety start button. If you release the handle it immediately stops. Being small you can push it right under the bushes to give a neat and tidy appearance to the garden.
This mower has done an excellent job and I feel it's very good value for money. I would rate it highly.
