Every cook should have one!
Original concern was from daughter worried about undercooked food - so lashed out on a Thermapen rather than one of the cheaper alternatives. Its brilliant! Instant and accurate readout, high quality UK made and every one has a certificate of calibration. What we have found is that far from undercooking our food, we have been over compensating, and therefore overcooking it, especially on the barbecue. With this gadget we have the best barbecue food ever! Have a bought a second thermapen as the first one is now with my daughter at Uni.
