Functional with some design flaws
The upsides of this scratching post are its size, height, sturdiness and materials used for scratching. However, the base has sharp corners that hurt your feet if you accidentally trip over it. It should be designed with bevelled or rounded corners. Also, the two screws on the top are visible. The product does not provide anything to cover them so as to make it more aesthetically pleasing. It is definitely functional but there's room for improvement in terms of design quality.

Good design and easy to set up.
I like the looks and the display. Easy to use and set up. Great that it comes with a power supply and not have to rely on batteries. However, it wasn't able to pick up signals from the outdoor unit occasionally, not sure why.
