It is worth what it costs and weighs.
Robust and with excellent optical performance. I am using it attached to a EF 70-200 f2.8 L USM and it does what it promises. It converts it into a "140-400 f5.6L USM" without loosing autofocus and still with excellent speed. Increase of chromatic aberration or distortion if any are not noticeable. I've been using it for nature photography for more than one month now and I did not feel the need of using again the 70-200 without it. Yes, weight and cost are a bit high, but ...

Interessante obra mas algo desactualizada.
Bem interessante quanto a imagens e fotos. Alguma informação estará desactualizada (frequências, mapas de distribuição das espécies, ...) dada a data de publicação do livro (1995).
