The product works are advertised. As shown in a number of youtube demonstations use a small hand sander to prepare the old counter and then finish it with the diamond faced hand sander. We had about 38 sq feet and we bought the large transformation kit. we found out we could have put the base coat on a little thicker because we had about 1/5 of can left over (you will want a little left to touch up spots after you sand the the base coat particles) you may have a few places that you may of sanded too much. Make sure you sand to match the sample piece that comes with the kit because the finished surface will feel the same when the epoxy top coat drys. If you leave the sanded finish a little ruff your finish will feel the same. the Eposy flows exactly as the surface.
