A hard-backed, covered business-like publication is a great asset - and the bold year numbers are its best advertisement.

My previous copy of the original last MacMillan publication, for 1994,was in tatters - largely due to the fact that I had purchased a paper-back version early in my crossword beginnings, and was unaware of any further editions by other houses. These are so useful for every kind of information, and I was pleased to discover that someone had continued them.

These are as described - powdered, strong and ready for use. What more could we want?

This, I estimate, being my first purchase of this kind of protective gloves, means I have no comparison to offer. I am rationing my use of these, however, for obvious reasons - making the first pair last - but I find them quite adequate and reliable. My only doubt at first was whether I should have to buy plastic, until I spotted the latex ones, and wondered why I was hesitant: I am firmly behind those who would like to place an absolute ban on plastic so, no contest there.
