My phone became water damaged during installation. Awful hand feel!
I was installing as directed and despite this, water seeped inside my phone. It cost me £60 to have it professionally opened and dried. No permanent damage thankfully but very disappointing!
This skin, just like all TPU-film skins I've tried, has a very annoying rubbery feel to it. It makes your expensive phone, made with premium feeling metal and glass, feel like a cheap rubbery toy when holding in your hand.
The skin formed annoying bubbles and ridges which I could not remove, despite being careful when applying. Once dried, there were was annoying unevenness and imperfections all over the screen.
Additionally, the pieces are cut about 1mm smaller, leaving a margin between the edge of the film and the pont where the glass meets the metal frame - it is not perfect full coverage as expected.
lastly, the pieces of film have sharp edges (unlike glass screen protectors which have rounded off, 2D edges) and as a result, instead of the smooth curves of my V30, I could onl yfeel these annoying sharp edges - definitely not an unnoticeable and unobtrusive "skin feel"!
